No one. We don't usually do live chats for scripted television.

dark horse for mvp this year?
Paul Swydan
6:10
No, it'll probably be a baseball player.

Throwback Devil Rays hat was nice, though. If it's good enough for Boggsy, it's good enough for all of us.
Paul Swydan
6:10
The hat is not AS BAD as the uni, but I would never buy it.
Kvn
6:10
You're incorrigible.
Paul Swydan
6:10
I sure am.
6:11
I would say Mookie is a darkhorse for MVP. But he got votes in our staff picks, so...

Joe Davis, new on the Dodgers broadcast, has already cited WAR on an exhibition game, and Nomar and Orel were about ready to throw him out of the broadcast booth
Paul Swydan
6:11
Not Nomar. Not Nomar!
B.B. Rodriguez
6:11
Tulo for MVP.

6:12
J Upton?
Paul Swydan
6:12
I can't see the Tigers being good without Miggy being good, so Upton seems like more of a stretch than a darkhorse.

Does Odor qualify as a dark horse?
Paul Swydan
6:13
Yeah I think Odor is a good one.
If he hits the way he did in the second half all season, and the Rangers win the division......
Johnny Broccoli
6:13
Battle of the teams with the two ugliest home parks.
Paul Swydan
6:14
Skydome isn't that ugly. Chase Field is worse than Skydome.

There is a timeline where Adrian Beltre wins MVP this year
Paul Swydan
6:14
Sure. But I can see Texas being good even if Beltre struggles.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that these commercial breaks really do seem shorter?
Paul Swydan
6:15
I haven't noticed because I'm chatting with ya'll. But I'm glad to hear it.
Shirtless George Brett
6:15
Jason Kipnis for MVP.
Paul Swydan
6:15
Yeah that's a good darkhorse.
Mike Oxlong
6:15
ESPN guys just said cubs are totally under the radar. Is this real life?
Paul Swydan
6:15
Apparently.
Sam Clifford
6:16
Worst thing about the dome is that they don't even think about opening the roof until May -- and it's awful with the roof closed.
Paul Swydan
6:17
But that's precisely why they have the roof.
Bork
6:17
Cubs are under the radar to the average fairweather MLB fan though. Not a ton of everyday household names (yet)
Paul Swydan
6:18
I mean, sort of. They have Jon Lester and reigning Cy Young winner Jake Arrieta. Heyward got a huge deal this winter. You're probably right, but it's not open and shut.
Trainman
6:18
Stroman cruise control right now.
Paul Swydan
6:18
All game, really.
The Rays offense isn't shutting down their haters today, that's for sure.
Sam Clifford
6:19
Well, yes and no. There are plenty of days they could have it open in April, but they just leave it alone until May.
Paul Swydan
6:19
Ah, I see.
Johnny Broccoli
6:19
Chase Field is way more pleasing on the eyeballs than the Skydome. Though I'm more so referring to the playing field than the stadium as a whole.
Paul Swydan
6:20
I found Chase Field to be insufferable with the roof closed. I didn't find Skydome the same. But it's been a long time since I've been to either ballpark.
Sam Clifford
6:20
James Loney MVP
Paul Swydan

That's not a darkhorse, that's just a ... horse?
Another inning for Webb, I like that.
