Unlikely, but maybe for a couple of batters
BlueMoon

Uribe and Ramirez are from the same city in the Dominican, weird how that works.
Jeff Sullivan
5:45
Crisp, extra bases!
Leadoff double. That's a big one
5:46
Win expectancy now exactly 50/50

For all the "baseball is slow!" talk, how much would MLB love to have a 2h30m Game 7 with ~35M viewers?
HelloHello
5:46
If someone told you Kluber would give him 4 inn 1 run at the beginning of the game or u could roll the dice, which would tito have gone with?
Jeff Sullivan
5:46
Absolutely you take four innings and one run
Craig Edwards
5:47
If they get 35 M viewers, I doubt they care how long it is. Hopefully, the slow games in the playoffs renew focus for next year for the regular season, but there is only so much you can do in the playoffs with the added commercials and pitching changes.

Perez bunts Crisp over to third. Probably not the worst thing to do
Triple deek
5:47
What is the normal hr park factor in Cleveland?
Jeff Sullivan
5:48
Really high the last couple years
Doug

Are the Cubs being super aggressive because pitch count is essentially irrelevant?
Jeff Sullivan
5:48
Santana ties it up! Single and it's 1-1
Craig Edwards
5:48
I think they are being aggressive because they don't want to get behind and want to hit the first good pitch they see.
Jeff Sullivan
5:49
Just baaaaaaaaarely over Rizzo's glove
Craig Edwards
5:49
Kipnis was looking for that change. Missed it.
DaveB
5:49
Uribe joked that he was Ramirez's father earlier this year prior to his release
forever it
5:49
That Schwarber TOOTBLAN could go down in infamy
Yo-Yo
5:49
Does that single score Crisp if he's on second? Just thinking about it.
Jeff Sullivan
5:50
Ehhhh, it was bad, but there were two outs. So that mitigates things. Ramirez getting picked off hurt worse
Craig Edwards
5:50
yes. not hard enough past infield.
MrJellyBeans

Do bunts positevley effect a teams odds of winning?
Bubba
5:51
When I click the scoreboard it only gives me yesterday's boxscore/WPA... what gives?
Jeff Sullivan
Sean Dolinar
5:51
All safe.
Jeff Sullivan
5:51
Montgomery up and throwing in the Cubs bullpen
Baez with another huge mistake. Oh dear
Craig Edwards
5:52
generally no, but keep in mind the odds don't always factor for hitter skill. Sean might no more on that.
Jeff Sullivan
5:52
That's...wow. That's a probable double play, turning into what I assume are zero outs
Sean Dolinar
5:53
Bunts and odds of winning?
Jeff Sullivan
5:53
All safe. Wow.
Sean Dolinar
5:53
Bunts essentially trade run expectancy for run probability.
Curious Doge
5:53
I missed it, was the rest of the infield in as well besides Rizzo?
Craig Edwards
5:53
Not sure.
Jeff Sullivan
5:54
Indians odds of winning about 60%. Would've been 50% with a double play
JBerg2021
5:54
Bryant was playing about 3/4, but backpedaling on the bunt
Jeff Sullivan
5:55
There are more than 900 people in here. Holy crap. Sorry to everyone who can't get comments submitted but we are overwhelmed!
ChatzMcGee
5:55
Do errors count against the fielder in WPA?
Craig Edwards
5:55
No
