And then Longenhagen gets the late shift.
Carson will appear randomly, to keep things off balance.

With all the emphasis on pitchers being able to repeat their motion, doesn't it seem strange there are so few starters who do not pitch exclusively from the stretch?

I think it's pretty common for relievers.
A lot less common for starters.

I remember Ubaldo Jimenez walked like 5 people in the first four innings of his no hitter, and then Bob Apodaca made him pitch from the stretch for the rest of the game.
