Dodgers bats alive - Joc GS and Grandal a solo shot. So excited. Then I remembered, it's Chacin pitching...so this is par.
Travis Sawchik
5:10
GRANDAL! Someone gave him an MVP vote last year
Christopher Wallace

Eno, makes me so sad to see Ottavino working in the 8th.
Eno Sarris
5:11
Let's see what Holland's stuff looks like before we get too sad.
botchatheny
5:11
do you pronounce chacin's first name like "jules" or "jowls"?
Eno Sarris
5:11
I shouldn't answer this but I *think* it's Hooolies
Tyler
5:11
Yeah but Bell cost them some runs not scooping the ball earlier.
Travis Sawchik
5:11
It's been a rough transition. He's a worker, though.

Most home plate camera angles drive me nuts. Someone mentioned Yankee telecast yesterday but at least the camera angle in Tampa is great. Def changes the whole context of watching a game when you can actually see where the pitch travels over the plate. It's really hard for me to watch games with these horrible angles anymore.
TJB

Rockies fans typically pronounced it "yo-LEASE"
Travis Sawchik
5:13
Agreed. All cams should be dead center. That's how most people watch most action, via that angle
Eno Sarris
5:14
sorry yes love the mostly centered. for analysis, I want right behind center, but sometimes the pitcher himself obscures the ball's movement in those cases.

Ottavino walks 2 straight followed by 3 straight K's. What a beast
botchatheny
5:16
are you guys swapping between games or sticking to one?
Eno Sarris
5:16
I'm very nuts right now, just jumping around like a maniac. It's weird.
Travis Sawchik
5:17
I'm flipping between .... I need a multi-TV arrangement
Eno Sarris
5:17
I've got Kershaw on the TV, flipping on the computer. GIVENS THE UNICORN
Travis Sawchik
5:17
I have a five-second attention span right now
Tooch

Does it bother other people when the broadcast switches to a dumbass camera angle (like directly behind home plate) for a full at bat? Is there anyone that enjoys watching from that angle when a perfect dead center view is available?
Eno Sarris
5:18
I'd like it if every cast showed every pitcher for at least two pitches from behind home plate. But yeah it's not fun to watch, that's just for my research.

Don't panic about the slow start Reds fans, they just announced Bronson Arroyo is A-OK to start Saturday!
Travis Sawchik
5:23
It's going to be a long year along the Ohio ...but Eno has me intrigued in Finnegan
Eno Sarris
5:23
Just gotta find one pitcher a year and they'll be good in ten years.
botchatheny
5:24

Eno Sarris
5:24
I dunno but I'm sure going to miss that delivery when it's gone.

is this about the Twins, or the Reds: Just gotta find one pitcher a year and they'll be good in ten years.
Eno Sarris
5:24

Travis Sawchik

Twins should probably have pulled trigger on Dozier-for-De Leon if it was there
