I told him early in his sophomore year at NC State that he was just as good as Rodon and should go in the top 10 picks a little over a year later (he almost did), and at this point Rodon was a 1-1 lock and Turner was some other guy on the team. I ended up meeting his parents a year later and they thanked me for believing in their son. I've randomly run into them multiple other times and they're always so nice and I'm like I literally have nothing to do with him being really good at baseball.
