Too many holes to fill all around on thus team, despite all the activity in free agency. Looks like the Steelers are all in on offense with the draft. Only way it makes sense to me is the Steelers leadership is banking HEAVILY on BOTH Tuitt and Alualu being back and up to previous form. Bad gamble, I think.

Late to the game er chat here.  So would Pickett have also lasted to the 52 pick?  Unless some GMs after the fact admit they might have will we ever know.  I hope that Kenny has a great career here and then it won’t really matter.  If it is a so-so one, we will be just as upset about drafting him as we were about not drafting Marino.

Here is a positive thought on Pickett.  We have been spoiled to have a QB that was a near perfect prospect physically in 2004.  Big, strong arm, mobile, accurate, 25 on Wonderlich.  But even Ben had questions about competition.  Several top QBs had some physical deficiency to talk about when drafted,

Brian: love that top 10.  The UTSA CB is freakish to run a 4.26 at 6’4”.  Haven’t seen that since Mel Blount.  What is the downside of him?  We have so many needs though.
