I meant to cook last night to make leftovers but I ran out of time. So I'm gonna get a Greek wrap from an awesome nearby restaurant (Souvla, for anyone from the Bay)

The new left field wall, ladies and gentlemen.

We’re really doing mid-game interviews with the manager in the postseason, hey?

I live here.

28/30 parks for that Westburg ball (and 19/30 for Salvy). I continue to find that change to the stadium baffling. I do wonder if fans/teams see something almost shameful about having hitters' parks. As someone who follows the Yankees, seeing the constant "it's a little league park!" thing is really annoying. But both teams get to play there! And I'd be annoyed if the Yankees pushed RF way back.

I actually prefer the veggie sandwich to the chicken wrap most days. The chicken is a grease bomb. A delicious one, but still greasy

Agree, Jay.  Before the move back, that left field wall was Little League.
AvatarDan Szymborski
4:55
I definitely hate the wall sometimes in moments in MLB the Show when you have to hit a homer with a righty
Dan

are the white sox better than the astros?
AvatarDan Szymborski
4:56
I'm not sure the white Sox are better than the Biggio-Bagwell Astros...NOW

I challenge this Szymborski character to a 40-yard dash. Name the time and place.

Will Lindor catch Ripken for most career HR hit while playing SS?
Davy Andrews
4:57
This is very much a Dan/Jay question, but when I wrote about him a couple months ago, I called his chance "small but legitimate."
AvatarJay Jaffe
4:58
he's at 241, needs 345 to tie, i'd say yeah it's very doable.

I think Quatraro's manager of the year award got eaten by the Tigers

I’d rather get RT, personally
Ben Clemens
4:59
Okay last SF sandwich post. RT is good. I like a rotation of the two when I want a lunch sandwich. RT is greasy too, but delicious.

I still play MLB the Show 20, so I have to remind myself sometimes which dimensions Camden actually uses

Kind of sad that Lindor missed 30-30 but hitting a game-winning HR >>>>>>>>>>>>>> getting on base and having a SB opp
AvatarDan Szymborski

LIndor's only 104 HR behind Ripken *as a SS*
AvatarJay Jaffe
5:00
yeah that's what i meant
seems v doable
AvatarDan Szymborski

241 vs. 345
Ben Clemens
5:00
feels like he's gonna get there way more than 50% of the time, then
AvatarDan Szymborski
5:01
ZiPS thinks he has 131 left, on average
though that doesn't explicitly project *as* a SS, he's certainly in no imminent danger of shifting off
Dan
5:03
hader pitching in this game feels like a bit of a mistake?
Ben Clemens
5:07
Yeah I don't get it
Davy Andrews
5:07
Oh wow, it's really happening.
