Garrett Mitchell being a type 1 diabetic made me look up other MLB players from past or present that were type 1 diabetic. The list includes the likes of Catfish Hunter, Ron Santo, Adam Duvall, Dave Hollins, Sam Fuld, and Brandon Morrow.
