i dont agree with maggie because they were two different people and I don't think that they are =
Alexis Starling
1:33
i like the outter circle because you don't have to talk much.
Brandt H
1:33
Being in the outer circle means I can talk quietly with people.
DavidC
1:33
i agree with cash
Jeb M
1:33
I like it a lot more because you have more to say. Instead of people interrupting you sometimes.
1:32
I agree with Brandt.
Troy Somers
1:32
With Brandt
AvatarMichelle Johnson

Thoughts about being in the OUTER Circle?
Brandt H
1:32
To back up this statement if you were to become a priest for matrimony ypu would be given a title therefore giving you status.
cool 1
Troy Somers
1:32
I agree
DavidC
1:32
it is so wrong for white people to treat black people the way they did and the black people did not treat them badly so why should white people treat black people the way they did
AvatarMichelle Johnson
1:31
Yup.
Brandt H
1:31
A title given to you can make all the difference
AvatarMichelle Johnson
1:31
Agree Troy
1:30
So true Brandt.
Jeb M

Back then totally.

Did the fact that Dr. King was a preacher make a difference?
1:29
Thoughts on what Em said?
Brandt H
However the speech would have to be worded differently in this time.
1:29
I agree with Elliana
Troy Somers
1:29
I think it would have mattered very much if the speech was given by a female, as African-American women had even less rights and respect.
Alexis Starling
1:29
It would because no one would fully pay attention to a girl because not everyone would actually listen to what they had to say.
David Torres
1:29
yes they would not get the attrn and people would thing they are smart
DavidC
1:28
so do I
AvatarMichelle Johnson
1:28
I'm not sure if I could have given it even. I think it would have been very hard for a women to have given a speech that would have been LISTENED to then...
Jeb M
1:28
Agree with Emily.
Ms. T.
1:28
I like that question Gauge
Alexis Starling
1:28
No I would have not because I would not physically be able to get on stage and start speaking directly to people
DavidC
1:28
i would see what a lot of the white people were speaking and treating the black people in that way and i would be like martin and risk my life for bring peace to all people at that time and speak up for the people who can't speak up for them selves
cool 2
Brandt H
1:28
If I had given the speech and I knew the motive to do it I would. This applies to many situations in which if people know what to do and they know the reason, they would do that certain thing.
AvatarMichelle Johnson
1:28
Would it matter if it was a female?
Jeb M
1:27
No I couldn't have. I would never have the much confidence to say that in front of thousands of people all over the world. To have the courage to do that why you're getting death threats.
David Torres
1:27
i agrre with sure he did it for his people
AvatarMichelle Johnson
Great question Guage!
1:27
I wonder what Sura means by "forceful"?
David Torres
1:26
i agree with  emily they were scared or getting hurt by people
Brandt H
