Hi WIll, but the email which is sent to me required both of the transcripts. Should I email back and talk about this situation?  And what's more, the name of the courses between two transcripts are not the same, as the universities let us transfer between courses with similar content.

Shangru, if all of the relevant course information from your time at the school in Korea IS on your chinese transcript, then it should be fine. However, yes, I would recommend emailing back with your question, and make sure you include the information you told me.

Hi Will, would you mind telling us your opinion on whats it like living in Philadelphia? Especially for an incoming international PhD student, what might be the advantages/disadvantages?
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir

Sure - I love living here, and I've been here for over 16 years now. The city is pretty easy to get around without a car, especially if you live near UPenn, where there are multiple different means of public transportation. The Campus AND City always have a ton of events going on, but never to the point where it feels overwhelming. The food/restaurant scene continues to get better; the live music scene has shows at clubs every night and the job/industry outlook also gets better every year. PLUS you're centrally located on the East Coast, so a quick bus ride/train ride to NYC, DC, Baltimore, etc.

Hi Will! I have taken multiple graduate level classes in my undergraduate so would it be possible to transfer credits for those to UPenn?
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir

Abhiraj, this is a decision made by the program on a per-student basis, so you'd need to ask your program.

Hi,
Are there any statistics available for previous year's MSE in Data Science course? No of applicants, no of admits, batch size, etc.
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir

Shubham, last year we had 747 students apply and admitted 65.
Ronit,

HI Will, Could you share the batch size for MSE Robotics for Fall 2019.
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir

Ronit, I can't, as that's the current application cycle, but last year we had 543 apply and 75 were admitted.

Hi Will
I got admitted to Masters in Electrical Engineering. Does UPenn maintain data regarding the employment (average salaries etc.) of the students who have graduated in the last few years.

Thanks

Ranjani, yes we do. You can find it here: https://www.vpul.upenn.edu/careerservices/surveys.php#GradStudent
That's it everyone! Thanks for the chat!!!

Hi Will, how is likely for a CGGT student to transfer to CIS program? If so, what's the procedure? Thank you.
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir

Linda, you have to complete at least one semester in the CGGT program and be in good academic standing before you apply. I don't have the specific number, but I do know that a majority that apply to transfer that have at least a 3.5 do get in.
