Hi Guest, each program has a program coordinator, so you aren't "assigned a coordinator," as much as there is one to assist you and all other incoming students. What program are you going to be starting?

Shubham, I'm sorry to hear that you have become ill and wish you a speedy recovery. You'll need to email a request to defer the semester to admissions1@seas.upenn.edu, explaining why you are requesting to defer for a semester. This will be sent to the department, and you'll be notified once the department makes a decision.

Sure, you can request to defer one semester or two semesters at a time. You need to request the deferral by August 1.
