This so much. I think that's an underrated part of the regional broadcasts. Even if they're sometimes homers, most of them are knowledgeable and interested in the game.

I think people just misuse it. It doesn't have much predictive value, and people use it that way too much. It's still a useful and cool statistic, and does a much better job than wOBA of saying how people have done in small samples, but it's overused to predict the future.
