Ankit, we do not have a specific number. However, the last two years the program has averaged 70 students every fall.

Another question. Do we get to choose specific concentrations within the CIS subject?
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir

Ko-Wun, no - we have specific release dates so that you have a pretty good idea of when you'll hear back. We only send out decisions for our master's programs on those dates that are specified.

Hello Will, I just applied to the DATS program, and I saw on the website that students hear back either January or March. Are there any cases where students hear back earlier?

Excellent! You're welcome.

Yes. I’m aware of that. Thank you :)

I should also add that it is really exam and project based. You would do a great deal of course-based projects, especially in the 2nd year of the program.
10:12
Yes, you can definitely do that. However, our master's program is more class and exam based, and not so much research based, just so you are aware. It doesn't mean that there aren't opportunities to do research, as there definitely are, but the program is not based around research experiences.

I wanted to know if I should contact the professors I’m interested in working with it I get selected?

Sure, Deepika, what questions do you have?

Thank you!

Unfortunately, no. We need to have at least the unofficial GRE scores for the application to be considered reviewable.

I was wondering, if a student has submitted their application ahead of their GRE test date, will their application be reviewed, with the GRE sent later (still before the deadline)?
