Hi Thiago, unfortunately I don't have any other information to tell you; they're released on a rolling basis - when the dept makes a decision, we release it.

Hi Andy, we have released a few decisions, but the vast majority still need to go out. And we received 309 this year.

Additionally, when the committees review the application materials and make the decisions, do they separate the domestic applicants and the international applicants! (I have seen some domestic students got informed earlier for other schools) Thank you Will!

Hi Terry. No, decisions are released on a rolling basis - we don't have a specific date they'll be released. As for whom the dept admits earlier, I don't have any information about that. Best of luck!

Hi Ming Ding, they usually start going out 6-8 weeks after the Dec 15 deadline. They are released on a rolling basis, so we don't have a schedule for when you can expect a decision.

No, this only matters for those that applied to programs with an early and later decision deadline. It doesn't matter for our PhD and other master's programs.

Akshata, there would be specific text on your checklist stating that your application was ready for early decision. If it's not there, your application didn't qualify. You email admissions1@seas.upenn.edu for more specific information.

That is correct - we require all materials, including letters of recommendation, to be in by the deadline for your application to be considered for early decision.
