Yes, to the second part, irrespective of the first. Lotsa good things lining up, including that park. Would be great if he could prove to hit LHP, but I'll take even just continued raking against RHP.

Hi Brent!  15-team mixed 5x5, must cut a pitcher.  My choices are Grant Holmes, my worst SP, and Dennis Santana, my worst RP.  I'm probably more worried about Santana, esp given Doug's latest column.  But I don't have any other RP on my bench, while I do have SP (Shane Smith, Ben Brown, Brayan Bello later this week, etc.).  Who would you cut?

If you have no other saves opps on your roster, think you gotta continue to roll with Santana, even w cruddy skills. You're just looking for saves, and for now, he's the guy. As for who to cut ... probably Smith, though it's not clear-cut. But Holmes, Brown, Bello all better track records (though a couple are short) BUT also play on much better teams (W potential). Not ideal, but as long as Santana is the guy in PIT, I'd hold (but be looking for add'l saves on the wire).

Hi Brent. 5X5 redraft. Would you trade Schwellenbach and Alvarado/Justin Martinez for Christopher Sanchez and Andres Munoz? And if so, which RP would you rather include?

I guess I would—that's assuming you'd keep either Alvy or Martinez. In that case, I'd rather include Alvarado, as all things considered, JMart has a better shot a more saves than Alvy rest of the way given team context, skills, manager tendencies.

Bit of an extra boost in a QS league, but .... that 2H last year and the slow start this year is a concern. Not sure I'd go out on a limb in a 12 just yet.

MiLB record doesn't factor in, but the other two do. Will say that MUs work a bit better once they have 2-3 starts of that pitcher.

Mentioned above ... defense is good, which should help given their OF injuries. I would be hesitant to break the bank. Put a solid bid in, and look at K Paris' past week for solace if you don't get him.

In a H2H 12 TM AL/NL league. I was just offered a trade for  Brandon Pfaadt and want to send a counter proposal to trade Pfaadt for Xander Bogaerts. I am always struggling with trading a pitcher for a position player and how to evaluate value. Context, my remaining SP would be Ray, Pivetta, Alcantara and Taj Bradley.
