Think I'd take Vaughn, and all the rookie risk. Nimmo can be under-appreciated, esp in OBP leagues -- but Vaughn has great eye at the plate AND significant power upside.

Hi Brent! In a 13 tm/mixed and looking for what percentage (if any) of my $50 FAAB to allocate to Rodon. Our league does a slow auction for free agents, bidding currently at $8. My SP are: Cole, Ryu, Buehler, Skubal, German, Kikuchi, Morejon, Logan Webb, Dobnak (drafted him to start; would love to hold on in case/until he gets into the rotation but can't afford the roster spot to wait...he's my drop if I add Rodon or another SP). Best SP available seem to be: The best of the other SP available seem to be: Logan Allen, Dave Dunning, Daulton Jefferies, Houck, Teheran, Cobb, Merril Kelly, Justin Dunn, Luke Weaver, Garrett Richards...

Given all this--Go to $8 for Rodon? If so, how high should I go? Any of those other names stand out as roughly equal or better for what would be a lesser FAAB bid? Thanks so much!

Def like Rodon more than the others, so I would stop there. You know best given format/history, but I kinda like your staff as-is.  Seems like a lot of your FAAB to pay for a guy coming off shoulder problems like that -- and I say that as someone who has Rodon rostered in several leagues. Yes, he's an upgrade over Dobnak right now all things equal, but at that price? Maybe go to 8, but no more.
