I'd stick with Yandy.

Are you buying into Victor Robles's post-post-post (etc.) hype breakout in Seattle? Read that their hitting coach helped him to make an adjustment and the dramatic performance turnaround bears it out (over a small sample size, of course). For a primary SB producer, would you prefer him or long-slumping Brice Turang ROS? (5x5 OBP)
Brent Hershey

I am kinda buying in, yes. Hitting coaches are always tinkering, and esp with new players who come in. Part of the buy-in is because of the pedigree/talent base that was there, despite the prior MLB flops (plural). Really curious to see how Robles performs and how M's handle him when J-Rod gets back, including if he's still running as much as he is now (pertinent to your Q#2) Final two months should be interesting.

All that said, I'd still choose Turang ROS, but fully acknowledge the struggles after the first month or so. IOW, reason to go Robles there if you'd like.

Is Tyler Philips going to hurt me and help me ROS in NL only? (I am currently very solid in pitching categories so will he hurt my ERA and WHIP?)
Brent Hershey
12:50
That does seem possible ... big, big outing for him next time. Does seem to have even-keeled temperament for getting through that debacle; but can he respond?

Hi Brent.  Weekly H2H points league.  I need to pick two of these three please- Flaherty, Lodolo, Woo.  Thank you
Brent Hershey
12:50
Flaherty and Woo

...and likewise with DPeterson... will he help or hurt my ERA and WHIP ROS in NL only?
Brent Hershey
12:51
DP been overperforming peripherals; I'd be skeptical he can keep it up.

More HRs ROS... Bellinger or AHays?  How many each?
Brent Hershey
12:51
Bellinger, 5 to 3

NL only, OBP league.  More valuable:  Frelick or MVargas?
Brent Hershey
12:52
Frelick (even considering Vargas is now in the AL)

Good day, Brent. NL-only deep keeper league. It is time to go free agent slumming today in the hopes a 2025 keeper emerges. Who has the best chance of having a productive role next year: Kopech, Stowers, Encarnacion, France, or Bride?
Brent Hershey
12:53
Stowers, then Kopech. Don't think the other three would be keeper-worthy

With his premium FB and above-average K rates, is Nate Pearson a good, post-hype talent to target on a Cubs team with open competition for P roles? Wasn't all that long ago he had a lot of prospect shine...
Brent Hershey
12:55
Yeah, think he's a decent dart; good change-of-scenery candidate and new club could use back-end bullpen help. Has to throw strikes, though.

Good Morning Brent, 5X5 16 team redraft. When the dust settles, who will be closing games for the Dodgers, Marlins, Cubs & Phillies. Also, will we see Sproat of the Mets & Misiorowski of the Brewers as starters this year or bullpen arms this year? Thanks
Brent Hershey
12:58
Gonna define "dust settles" as Sept 1:
LA - Hudson
MIA - a mix
CHC - Pearson
PHI - a mix, but Estevez will get the shot most nights

Feel both of those minor-leaguers, if they debut in 2024, will be as relievers.

Best bet for saves ROS: Hudson, E. Phillips, Y. Cano, or P. Sewald? Was very high on Hudson but Roberts does not seem to want to give anyone the job (perhaps waiting for Phillips to turn things around).
Brent Hershey
12:59
Lean Hudson, though agree it could well be Phillips. Both of those ahead of Cano/Sewald

Top contender in 12-tm, H2H, category. Not confident of dedendable starts from staff of Peralta, Brown, Kershaw, Schwellenbach, R Lopez, Baz, Williams, Pepiot (IL), and G Stone, who seems to have hit a wall! Are Williams and Stone droppable? And what are your top RP adds for ratios and HD+S? Thanks!
Brent Hershey

Might consider dropping Stone, would not with Williams, who seems to still be getting his feet under him. Even Stone I don't think is a must-cut or anything. LA team helps him some there (wins potential).

Will Chisholm thrive or flounder ROS in NY?  #HR/SBs?
Brent Hershey

Think he'll thrive there; pressure oddly a bit off with Judge/Soto in front. 8 HR, 9 SB rest of the way?

Hi Brent!  Do you have high hopes for Birdsong in SF and Yilber Diaz in AZ next season in NL only Roto? 4x4
Brent Hershey

Birdsong more than Diaz, but at this point definitely in the mix for both. Super impressed with Birdsong's arsenal so far.

Excellent, all ... thanks for the questions! Will be back next week, same time/channel. May your week be injury free and stuffed with stats!
