Not sure we've studied that specifically, though we do have research that gives some credence to a singular "hot" pitcher (via our PQS game scores) being more likely to throw a dominant performance after a string of very good ones. Which, to be clear, is not what you're asking here re: Sonny Gray. Seems there would be some benefit to a team playing well (bit of extra confidence in teh offense to show up, for instance), but that's more of a "soft" factor than one based on hard evidence).
