It's possible. That would be the Cole route. If he continues to perform at this level, he would put himself in that situation.

Cole and Glasgow significantly improved since leaving The Bucs. What does that say about Pirates’ Player development programs?

It says perhaps some more individualized instruction could be beneficial. Cole was too talented to conform to the Pirates' pitching plan. Glasnow I think was more, maybe they needed to try a different approach on instruction, because that seems to have worked in Tampa.

I'm 90 percent sure no, but that's on my list of things to look up today. We'll also know whether or not he's accepting it or appealing it today.

The outings look worse than they were based on the cross-up, but I have liked what I've seen so far. For Saturday, depends if Archer appeals and whether they need Kingham before then.
