Lightning round. Go.

Do you see some buying in addition to selling, like last year?
Bill Brink
12:39
I could see a little bit of that. Some of that will depend on their place in the standings, some on where other teams take the trade market.

Who goes down, when Marte comes back?
Bill Brink
12:39
Probably Moroff or Gosselin.

Who wins the National League?
Bill Brink
12:40
Tough to pick against the Dodgers the way they're playing right now.

What is Frazier max defensive upside ?  Just barely passable?
Bill Brink
12:42
You'd think there's an average defender in there -- he did play shortstop in the SEC -- but he hasn't shown it yet. I'd say better than what we've seen but not a plus defender.

I thought I heard the radio guys discussing Osuna possibly moving to 3B. Obviously this isn't going to happen mid season, but do you think he might get some work there, say next spring training? Seems like it's going to get tough for him to get AB's in the OF going forward.
Bill Brink

There's been talk of that here and there, and I agree, if that happened that would be a next spring training, winter ball type of thing. It would make sense from a get-his-bat-in-the-lineup perspective, he's got the arm, but they'd have to believe he's got the quickness and footwork to do it.

Best pirate prospect we don't hear about?
Bill Brink
12:46
Not necessarily a "prospect" per se but I'll go with Jordan Luplow. Hit .287/.368/.535 with 16 homers in Altoona to get him promoted to Indy, and he's hit .294 with a .405 OBP and three homers in nine games there.

Weren't we supposed to be upgrading our baserunning with the hiring of Kimera Bartee.  Seems were performing worse than last year on the basebaths?
Bill Brink
12:46
Worse in SB percentage, yes, though I bet that gets better when Marte returns.

Who is the future 3B? Hayes?
Bill Brink
12:47
Possibly, though you'd like to see a little more power. But he's young yet and the power could develop.
12:48
That's it for today, thanks for the great questions. We'll do it again next week, midway through that all-important Brewers series.
