The Pirates love them some starting pitching depth -- they were really lucky this year to need as few as they did, and they can't bank on that happening again -- so I wouldn't count on it, but they definitely do have a surplus and as we start getting closer to Rule 5/running out of options they could move one.

I think the 2014 and '15 teams were, while maybe not World Series teams, capable of a deep run into the playoffs before the bad luck of running into Bumgarner and Arrieta. So yes, I do, but now they'll have to piece it together without Andrew McCutchen as the all-caps Andrew McCutchen he once was.
