Another great question!  We don’t like the protective put to get into the final month before expiration (where it loses time value rapidly).  So we roll before that final month.  Also, if the stock has moved higher and our spread (the distance between the strike prices of our sold and bought puts) gets wider we can tighten the puts up and “reset” the protection

We almost never adjust a Money Press mid-week.  The reason for this is that we are trying to catch as much time decay as possible and that happens rapidly on Thurs/Friday.  So we let the week play out then adjust accordingly into the next week.

Great question Joel.  So each Friday we will come in and buy back the weekly put we sold.  We typically will sell the at-the-money put for the next week in its place
