Jordan Hicks is SP eligible. Is he worth just leaving in one of my empty slots every day in a 12 team. Should help the ERA and WHIP categories
Brad Johnson
4:09
Yes. Hicks could be closing for the Cardinals by mid-May if Holland has trouble getting up to speed
And I love squeezing RP into my SP slots

Should I be satisfied with T. Beckham and Neil Walker as versatile bench pieces in a 12 tm OPS league? Or should I abandon either for Piscotty, JBJ, or Spangenburg?
Brad Johnson
4:10
If those are your alternatives, I'm satisfied for now
Always looking to upgrade though
Could turn those into streaming slots too
Rays Mistake

What are your thoughts on yonny Chirinos? Will he start at some point?
Brad Johnson
4:10
Probably only bullpen games. At least this season
4:11
I like the skill set in a general sense. It doesn't always play right away

Better bet to become a SP later this season: Gsellman or McHugh?
Brad Johnson

McHugh
Alvaro

Have you noticed that I'm loading my hands higher in my stance like I used to do in the past? Do you think this adjustment and the increased bat speed will ultimately make me a much more productive asset?
Brad Johnson
4:12
I usually cringe when I see high hand loads
it works for some guys, but I much prefer the shorter bat path associated with a low load
Josh
4:12
Would you hold Chirinos as a Salvy replacement or stream until he returns?
Brad Johnson
4:12
Chirinos is good enough to hold
4:13
assuming he starts hitting soon
(grumble)
Yesterday, I tinkered Welly Castillo out of my DFS lineup so I could squeeze in Sean Newcomb. Used Chirinos instead. Newcomb replaced Andrew Triggs.
It was not my finest hour

What is your outlook for Reynaldo Lopez following the strong start?
Brad Johnson
4:14
He has more upside than similarly fringy SP
I'm not on the bandwagon yet
Matt Klentak

"Madbum (Hurt)" lol oh really? hes asking you for advice but doesnt think your in tune enough to remember huge SP injuries
Brad Johnson

Says the guy who hired the guy who doesn't warm up his relievers

I told my friends this morning that Jake Junis would be a top 40 SP in 2018.  They all told me I was insane.  Who's more right?
Brad Johnson

You aren't drawing dead, but you probably need to spike the river
(that's a poker metaphor)

Traded Dozier and Conforto for Albies and Luis Castillo.  Rest of the core is young (Sanchez, Correa, Hoskins, Devers).  Grade the deal?
Brad Johnson
4:16
I'm not sure you want me to :)

I looked pretty good today, huh? Any takeaways?
Brad Johnson

Scroll up (or down or whatever direction is the beginning)
I think 2nd or 3rd question

Any concerns with Shark when he returns that the injury will linger or affect him in any way?  Is he a better DL stash than Salazar?
