Player gets hurt

Player reverts

now there are few theories as to why the injury/reversion happen

1. Injuries are common or 2. new mechanics exposed a physiological weakness/caused the injury

If 1. then reversion happens because the player loses whatever "feel" he had that led to success

Josh Bell, and no I think it would have been a fair question at the start of the year

but I always find myself way bullish on Abreu

Abreu was one of those guys I initially liked more than everybody else

then he exceeded even my high expectations and then everybody liked him more than me

this happens with a couple players every year
