Borderline top 15
depends how sensitive you are to the lack of SB
The age is just so valuable
Harris
2:46
Been offered Springer for Scherzer? Should I pull the trigger?
Brad Johnson
2:46
As always, depends on what you need.
What do you need?
Drew
2:46
Assuming Nick Williams is a Sept call-up, what might a small sample look like? Moving forward??
Brad Johnson
2:46
I don't think he's a major league player right now. Maybe a 85 wRC+ with a few HR
Grant
2:46
Where do you value Schwarber in 12 team keep forever, OBP/SLG? What rank OF?
Brad Johnson
2:47
I don't have OF ranks drafted up
I'm on the pessimistic side of Dave Cameron's wagon
i.e. he's only a good hitter without a real position
Andy
2:47
Trumbo for Shoemaker re-draft pretty even?
Brad Johnson
2:47
Seems a shade light, but again, if you really need the pitching you might not get a better offer
Asrat
2:48
Is there a more useless hitter in dfs than those who neither hit for power or have speed? looking at you jed lowrie........
Brad Johnson
2:48
And yet when you look at winning lineups, they often have a fluke performance from a guy like that
going to wrap it up

Dropped Valencia for Bregman (playing him at UTIL) in a 12 tm 5x5 (non-keeper). Not really in need of any specific categories and currently in first place, but do you think this was a good move? Could reverse it or swap Bregman for Puig, Joc, Conforto, Peralta... I'm running out of moves for the season so I need it to stick. Thanks!
Brad Johnson
2:48
Yea, I think that's fine
2:49
I'd mind more if Healy wasn't eating into Valencia's reps

re: Cueto trade. Good use of the word ostensibly. Props
Brad Johnson
2:49

Expect Mason Williams to have a meaningful big league role next year?
Brad Johnson
2:49
Bench player?
JalapEno
2:49
how should trades be handled in a league where the keepers make up the first 5 rounds? I personally think pretty much anything can fly with keepers, but there have been arguments that a player in last can trade "his entire team" for a keeper and get a free keeper out of it. thoughts?
Brad Johnson
2:49
Not sure I follow
2:50
you're saying uncompetitive teams are incentivized to trade everything for one good keeper?
That's pretty standard for that rule set
it's up to individuals to take a hard stance when negotiating

Any concern about Profar long term? He's scuffled a bit since his hot start.
Brad Johnson
2:51
Not concern, but we're getting close to his expected batting line
He was never going to hit .340
Royals
2:51
any specific reason they just called up Mondesi? 14 games in AAA, with a RC+ 120 between AA and AAA this year
Brad Johnson
2:51
defense and speed I assume
Austin Hedges
2:51
Do you think his strong AAA numbers mean he will hit in the majors when called up, or do you think this is a PCL mirage?
Brad Johnson
2:52
He'll hit. Not like a monster, but enough to be mixed league relevant
Balsamic Vinegar
2:52
I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT GALLO!! DO NOT WRAP UP! TELL ME HE'S GOING TO PLAY, BRAD! TELL ME HE WILL PLAY!!!!
Brad Johnson
2:52
After the trade deadline, maybe
they've intentionally kept him away from MLB reps
they don't want teams getting a clean look at how he'll do with his "adjustments"
