Definitely. Tyler Flowers can be inconsistent and is a great backup. A catcher like Weiters who can hit 15-20 bombs and is as good as he is defensively is rare. Expect the Braves to sign him sometime soon.

We have very high expectations, so I don't see why we can't contend. And no, Dansby is not a trade candidate. He is way too valuable to let go unless we get someone like Mike Trout or Bryce Harper in return, which is as unlikely as trading Mike Trout for Eric O'Flaherty. His long term potential is way too much to give up.

Nick Markakis and Jaime Garcia. Jaime Garcia is a free agent after this year, and Nick Markakis has lots of trade value. If we trade both, we need some more OF prospects. Trading Markakis will allow the Braves to make room for Mallex Smith, a solid leadoff hitter. Trading Garcia will make room for Sean Newcomb, who seems ready to pitch for Atlanta sometime this year

Yeah Albies gave me a ball there I live close to and we also don't have to many good Catherine down in triple A so idk what they gonna do about the catcher position

If we can get Wieters, he will be here for 3 or so years. Then we might give Brett Cumberland a chance. Cumberland was drafted just this year and has good power.

Yes. With how we finished winning 50 of our last 90 games, I don't see why we wouldn't contend, especially with the addition of Bartolo, Dickey, and Garcia

Now a lot of people are saying that dans will hit 2nd in the line up and I personally he shouldn't until he has shown him self this coming season because now pitchers with his weakness ans he will have to adjust if that makes since..what are your thoughts

He would be a solid number 2 hitter for many years. He will probably hit 2nd because he can set many RBI opportunities up for Freddie and Kemp

I try to keep up with all of the teams, but I wouldn't be able to keep up an account for all of them. As for a noob, I would say just be patient and stay active.

Do you think we could keep markakis possibly long term, and use Mallex as a trade asset to get something bigger in return?

Markakis is aging pretty quickly. Mallex is a young talent that we wouldn't be willing to give up easily. We will probably go after a catching or pitching prospect for Markakis.

I think Sean Newcomb has a good chance to make a splash this year. Albies may get an opportunity later this year, but first he must prove himself in AAA

Absolutely not. As much as I hate to say it, he's a below average hitter with pretty good defense. Albies should be ready later this year. We also have several other middle infield prospects such as Anfernee Seymour and Travis Demeritte.

It's probably the most realistic outcome, but we also have a good shot at winning the division. As long as the Nats don't make any big moves, we should be in good shape. I'd be shocked if we don't make the postseason
