1) Not bad at all. Struggled with Travis Etienne, but who wouldn't? I guess we'll see how Notre Dame fares. My prediction: Not great, Bob.

2) I'd love to go to an SEC venue, as a reporter or a fan. Never been to one. My favorite road venue for covering a Pitt game so far in two years covering them for the P-G? Tough call, but Notre Dame was awfully neat. Didn't grow up an Irish fan or anything close to it, but very cool experience with all the history there.

Double B, With our non-conference schedule and championship game with Clemson did Pitt have the most difficult schedule this season?

Very possible. Top end opposition? Pitt played three unbeaten teams and two CFP participants. Depth? Pitt played 11 bowl teams out of 13 games. It was a grind, and that's part of the reason why I say Pitt's in sort of an odd place as it waits for the Sun Bowl. How do you really feel about this year? If you just look at it on its face from the beginning, you would've signed up for 7-6 and the Coastal title, yeah?

Yeah, probably. But the method of getting there, once you actually lived it, sure had some rough spots.
