With PSU's QB graduating this year shouldn't Pitt have a better chance next year of beating the Lions rather than this year ?
Brian Batko
2:27
Possibly, but Pitt also has a huge senior class of contributors this year that will also be gone in 2019.

Have you given any prediction about this year record wise? I'm cautiously hopeful there's 8 wins there somewhere....
Brian Batko

I have, but you'll have to delve into the deepest, darkest corners of the Internet to find it. Good luck.

Why isn’t Pickett a Heisman favorite ???!
Brian Batko
2:28
WE THE MEDIA haven't done a good enough job promoting him.

What's the best way to sell someone on attending the Albany game? I'm trying to convince a friend to go with my extra ticket.
Brian Batko

No. 1, the same reason to attend any season opener: Hope springs eternal. If this is the year Pitt goes undefeated and wins the CFP, don't you wanna say you saw where it all started?
No. 2, Albany's quarterback is likely to be Vincent Testaverde. Yes, that's Vinny's son. Tell your friend(s), it'll impress them.

Is there any clear favorite for RB1, or does it seem like it will be more of a group effort this year?
Brian Batko
2:30
Group effort, for sure. Pitt just has to make sure that's a good thing (all tailbacks playing well) and not a bad thing (none are getting the job done).

Albany is picked very low in its conference. Fair to say Pitt fans should be concerned if this game is closer than 24+ points?
Brian Batko

I think that's fair!
And that's all the time we have for today. Believe it or not, I have some other things to do. Until next week, my friends...
