Oh, they most definitely play up that angle when they can. Obviously, if what they have on the South Side is good enough for a pro team, it's plenty good enough for a college team. And anyone will admit that the winning-filling Heinz is a chicken-egg type deal. If you win, they'll come. But do they have to come to help you win? Sorta, yeah.

I don't know if this is a stupid question but when is Paris Ford eligible to play? Also, do you think we could have beat Penn State if Whitehead and the other suspended guys were playing?

All indications are that he's been eligible since he arrived late in camp. I don't think Whitehead and Wirginis being out there lifts this team past Penn State, no.

Still can't believe you picked Pitt to score 41 points last week.

Thanks for chiming in, Jim

Not sure what people have seen in DiNucci's limited snaps to think he should start/play more. As they say the backup QB is always the most popular guy on the team.

That's for sure. But I do think he showed some spark Saturday, albeit against a PSU D that might've been a little tired out or maybe resting on its lead a bit at that point. Put it this way, DiNucci did enough to make this a question a TON of people have asked me since Saturday.

Do you think lack of conditioning played a part in the... I don't know.  They just looked flat footed to me.

No, I think Pitt's conditioning is probably on par with Penn State's. Methinks Penn State's talent level was just better, and playing at home always helps.

Pitt just didn't have the material to beat Penn State.  Give Narduzzi another or two, but his recruiting has to get better.  I am working my contacts here at the pearly gates to get Pitt Stadium resurrected!  Who do you think is responsible for bringing the script back?!?!
Brian Batko

Scott Barnes, but I bet he had help from some of the fine folks who've been in Pitt's athletic department for the long haul and have the pulse of this fan base.

With that, I'll let the chatter paying homage to Beano Cook have our last question. Thanks, all, for stopping by and sorry I couldn't get to the copious amount of questions. We'll chat again in a week with an ACC game to discuss.
