You were the highlight of my lunch, in all honesty. No word on those three, and I don't necessarily expect Narduzzi to clear that up tomorrow afternoon when we speak with him, either.

If pitt wins this week do we at least get some votes from the AP?
Brian Batko
2:54
Considering that Arkansas State, Fresno State and Hawaii got votes this week, I would say yes, probably.

I think Pickett will rise to the challenge, but I’m afraid McSorley will shred our safeties in particular.  If both of those happen, advantage who??
Brian Batko
2:55
Hmmmm...I'll say Penn State. As good as Kenny Pickett might turn out to be, and might already be, I think he's more likely to make the one big mistake that changes the game than McSorley.

I asked a question right at 2pm and it has been 20 minutes and you haven't even answered it. Why participate in this chat if you aren't gonna answer all the questions given to you?
Brian Batko
2:56
I'm getting there, Creme. From a logistics standpoint, the chat actually opens once you see the link to it on Post-Gazette.com, so you can start submitting questions any time after that.

Does Duzz assign a LB to shadow McSorley all night? If so, who do you see best fit to accomplish that?
Brian Batko
2:57
I'm not sure he'll do that, and if he does, he won't be telling the media about it. What I am sure of is that he's more worried about Miles Sanders' feet than McSorley's. As a callback to my first question, I could see Quintin Wirginis having a Scott McKillop-esque game in the middle, but Pitt needs Seun Idowu to have a better week, too.

So you didn't answer my question. Recruiting has sucked. He's been here 4 years now.
Brian Batko
2:58
Recruiting can always be better for the middle-of-the-pack power-five teams. That's why they're midlde of the pack. Developing players is significant, too.

Should we be concerned that kessman can’t make extra points? And hey Bob in VA you’re insane to call him a legitimate contender.
Brian Batko
2:59
Maybe a little, but that was Kessman's first missed extra point in more than 30 attempts. New holder this year, though, if that worries you at all.

Are you on lunch or vacation?

What is your prediction? A Pitt win?
Alex

Final score prediction?
Jack Straw

Enough Pitt apathy.  PSU is overated and Pitt is underated.  How many points does Pitt win by?
Brian Batko

Well, I guess it's time to end the chat with a prediction. I think it will be a close game and Pitt will cover the spread, but I'll say Penn State wins, 31-28. See y'all soon.
