Never asked him but I assume it's got some padding for extra protection when going to the ground. Or he was just a big Allen Iverson fan. I remember telling my mom I needed a sleeve, and I think I just cut off the end of a high sock.

What the heck is up with Bush?

He's tweeting again. Perhaps he wanted to go dark during the season, or he received a directive from coaches/teammates to not make any social media missteps this year. I'm not here to psychoanalyze a player's tweets, but I get the vibe that he's feeling free to put his thoughts out there now that he's set to be a free agent. Saw a headline somewhere that said his posts indicate he'll be playing elsewhere in 2023. Uh, you think? The dude played 10 snaps over the last two games. Doesn't seem like either side wants to continue this relationship.

I find in amusing that Cam would say MT should get an award.  The Steelers have not won a playoff game in 12 years.  Since Arians, Lebeau, Wisenhant left no playoffs as well.  Winning records are nice but since when is being mediocre something to be celebrated.  This is an offense league not getting a NFL caliber OC will keep this team average.  Fair assessment?  Thanks.

Sure, it's fair. I don't necessarily agree with everything you write or imply but it's not unreasonable to criticize Tomlin's lack of postseason success or - if he sticks with Canada - his stubbornness. Also, one minor quibble is that winning records are quite literally not mediocrity. They are above average.

What’s your gut feeling on what will happen with Canada?  If MT insists on keeping him, maybe hand play-calling duties to someone else?

Might as well end on one last Canada question. As I acknowledged earlier, now that it's been eight days, my gut feeling is that he stays. But as for taking away his play-calling, that would make no sense to me. There's really no reason to make him your QB coach, because Mike Sullivan really seemed to connect with Pickett and vice versa. I suppose you could make a case for keeping him on as an analyst/consultant/quality control/whatever but can't imagine he'd take a demotion like that. It's OC or bust, and at this point, I'm assuming he stays as the OC.

Thanks for all the good back and forth, folks. Apologies if I couldn't get to your question. You can always shoot me an email at bbatko@post-gazette.com and see if I can answer it in my mailbag. Have a good week.
