Josh Dobbs? To me it's a reunion that would make a lot of sense. He could pivot to QB2 or QB3 depending on what you decide to do with Mitch Trubisky.

Do people in the Steelers organization actually think Joey Porter Junior is worthy of a 1st rd pick? They must not have seen the same games I watched.

Not sure about people in the organization, but NFL.com analyst Daniel Jeremiah, a former scout himself for the Ravens, Browns and Eagles, just updated his list of top 50 prospects. Porter is No. 12. So, it's not exactly a nepotism pick if it happens.

Why don’t they test the football players at the combine wearing full football gear?  There may be a big difference between running a 40 yard dash in gym shorts versus pads and helmet.

A lot about the combine doesn't make a ton of sense, but I believe it's just meant to measure baseline athleticism, across all positions. That's why you have to take all of it with a grain of salt.

Hey Brian! Thanks for the chats! Lots of talk about the needs to be addressed by the Steelers, but not much on their mediocre kicking game, both punting and placekicking. Do you see competition being invited to camp with the real possibility of the incumbents losing their jobs, or just to light a fire under their fannies? Thanks!

Always nice to end the chat on a kicker question. In my view it never hurts to bring in an extra leg at both spots, and they usually do. I'd be surprised if Chris Boswell and Pressley Harvin aren't the kicker/punter combo in 2023, but again, doesn't hurt to bring in competition.

OK everyone, enjoy all our combine coverage this week from Gerry Dulac, Ray Fittipaldo and Chris Carter. I'll be back here on the homefront following along and wranging two small humans. Have a good night.
