Weird question - but from reading your chat from I think last week or a couple of weeks ago, you mentioned that Steve Nesbitt (who used to write for the PG) moved to France. ?! That seems random. Did he get a sports writing job over there? That would be a neat place to live i bet.

No, no, what I said was that Stephen was IN France during last week's chat. That was a fact. I'm going to leave it at that, though. Done talking about people who aren't here, just like the Steelers with Antonio Brown, Le'Veon Bell, etc.

I think James Washington will be the second-leading wideout, but how about Vance McDonald? Still going Washington, but McDonald wouldn't surprise me if he racks up a lot of catches.

Any word on what Lawrence Timmons is doing now that he ain't playing in the NFL any more? I alwayys felt he was a greatly underappreciated steelers by the fans.

Not sure. I don't see Timmons listed in the NFLPA's official free agent list. But I was talking to Arthur Moats last week (name dropper) and he said "Law Dog" had an absolute cannon of an arm. Could throw the football a country mile. So that's a fun fact.

Today is June 11 and it is the birthday of Vince Lombardi and Joe Montana. It should be a football holiday - the birthday of two gridiron legends and Pennsylvania boys! No question - just thought you'd think that was neat.
