Geez, Acrisure sounds more like a prescription drug or fiber supplement. Any ideas for a better nickname? The Ack?

It's pretty bad, Easley. Far be it from me to critique the name of a company that does something I don't even understand, but once you put that name on a football stadium, you're opening yourself to a lot of public rebuke. To me, if this was by far the best financial option, the great compromise would've been to keep something local in the name. The Chiefs technically play at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The Broncos' venue is called Empower Field at Mile High. If any organization would want to keep some sort of tie to local tradition like that, I would've thought it'd be the Steelers.

I am worried about how and where I am going to watch the Steelers-Browns game on Thursday, September 22.  The game is being broadcast by Amazon. I only have cable.  Is there a fee for the game since is will not be broadcast by a traditional broadcast network?

As I recall last year, Steelers-Vikings was an Amazon Prime game but was still available on FOX locally. That might be the case again this year, but don't hold me to that.

Does anyone REALLY think that Steelers fans are going to call it anything but Heinz Field?

Maybe not, but it's still a boon for Acrisure in terms of name recognition. All publicity is good publicity, right?

In addition to his talent, Pouncey was always seen as the emotional leader of the oline. Who is their leader now and how important is it that someone emerge as the oline captain? Especially without an old pro behind them helping identify protections, etc.?

That's been a question for that unit since last offseason. Mike Tomlin said he wanted that to happen organically, and I figured Zach Banner would take up that responsibility, but neither one came to pass. I do think it's important, albeit one of those intangible things that's impossible to quantify. My guess is that James Daniels will become the go-to guy there. He's new to the team, but he has NFL experience, pedigree and I think he'll be a good player for them. Mason Cole fits that bill, too, if he excels at center.

Ben may be a HOFer, but that was in his earlier days.  He was ranked near the bottom last year.  Even if MT or KP play mediocre this year, that should still be an upgrade... right?

Yeah, aside from some clutch performances late in games, I didn't think Ben played very well last year.
