Hasn't flashed much to me, but I see your point. Griffey and Tevin Jones are different body types. But so was Justin Hunter, and how useful was he? You need receivers who can make plays regardless.

Last year Marcus Allen was behind due to injury etc. Is he looking up to speed and getting reps?

I've only seen him getting second-team reps. I like Marcus Allen, but I don't think they see him as a deep safety. So, unless something happens with Terrell Edmunds, not sure how much you'll see Allen out there unless it's a subpackage.

Not that I know of. Last I heard, it was still up in the air, and if it did return, it will be different in some way.
