What a difference a week makes!
Brian Batko
2:49
Indeed! And injuries.

What changes would you make to start scoring one more point that the competition? Would you really just ride out this OL and give it time to gel? I'm afraid if we ran a reverse the defender in the backfield would get the second handoff.

I don't envision the Steelers devising an offense that doesn't use five offensive linemen at all times, so ... play better.

This season has disaster written all over it, maybe time for a change in leadership?
Brian Batko

Ah, there it is.

Brian, I actually thought the offense showed improvement against a tough Defense. I just think they need to give Najee more than 10 carries and stick with the run at the risk of more 3 and outs.
Brian Batko
2:52
That would be tough to watch. Maybe they need to use Benny Snell more. Or Kalen Ballage.

Green is a little green (pardon the pun) but looks like a real player. He does like to finish a play.  I think he is going to be a good one.

Who are you most concerned about on the OL?
Brian Batko
2:54
Probably Okorafor at this point, PFF grade be damned, but it's hard to single out just one guy when the entire unit is so uninspiring. As we expected it would be.

Hi Brian - I don't remember the last Steelers offensive tackle struggle like Chuks has been struggling. He does not look like an NFL starting offensive tackle. Thoughts?
Brian Batko
2:56
I thought he was competent enough last year, at least in pass-blocking. But yeah, assuming Banner is healthy enough to come off IR after this week, Sunday could be Okorafor's last chance to hang onto a starting job. Unless they'd move him back to LT and put Moore on the bench. Disappointing start for Chuks when you factor in moving from LT, getting owned by Crosby, etc.

Why does everyone think the problem is Ben and somehow inserting Rudolph or anyone would improve scoring?
Brian Batko
2:57
Because Ben makes like two good throws for every bad one at this point. Believe him when he tells you he hasn't been good enough. He's right. I'm almost alarmed at how much the second half of last season seemed to lower the bar for a lot of y'all.

Take the air out and let Dotson watts and Harris maul. Why not?
Brian Batko
2:59
Other guys gotta do some mauling, too, to make that work. Bengals gave up 123 yards rushing to the Bears yesterday, but only 67 to RBs. Still, maybe this can be a game they get it going and build some momentum in the run game.

OK folks, we're out of time. As much as I'd like to sit here all day and chat, there are so many questions that I would never be able to answer them all. Good news for you is Ray Fittipaldo will have his chat tomorrow, then Gerry Dulac on Wednesday. Enjoy.
