Fair observation, Sir Geo Net. But that was a wild loose ball drill in the heat of the moment. Duck said afterward the ball took a funny bounce and it's tough to adjust to footballs bouncing the wrong way. Don't think anyone can get on him too much for that one.

LB is averaging 51.5 yds/game and 2.9 per carry.  I would think way below his and the Jets expectation.  Are these numbers reflective of sitting out a year, skills going down hill, or a really bad Jets team?  He is averaging more yards than Conner, though....

The Jets offense stinks, and does so especially with Luke Falk at QB. I don't think his skills have diminished all that much even after the layoff. Will these guys even be able to keep him healthy enough to face his old team Week 16? I hope they do.

Honestly, there are so many questions every chat, especially this time of year. Same goes for Ray Fittipaldo and Gerry Dulac when they do theirs Tuesday and Wednesday. As I said at the end of the chat last week, I can never get to all of them. Not enough time in the day. I kind of just scroll through randomly and pick ones, trying to get to someone I haven't answered yet in that chat.

Jason La Canfora just tweeted that he firmly believes Dan Snyder and the Redskins will try to acquire Mike Tomlin. Not likely, but what would it take to get that deal done? 2 1st round picks?

Not really sure. I said on Twitter that I don't know who the emergency QB is. A couple people said it's obviously Jaylen Samuels and one person jumped down my throat for not knowing the answer to a question that rarely comes up and even more rarely matters. It's probably safe to assume that in that scenario, they just run Wildcat the rest of the way and do what they can. As far as who would be the next man up to try to throw a hail mary or something along those lines, I really do not know. Used to be Heath Miller for a long time.

No update yet. Saw him in a sling in locker room. Doesn't necessarily mean it's serious, though.

Not since it was reported last night that he's back home and resting up. He'll be in concussion protocol, and have to think he'll have a hard time clearing that in time for Sunday, but you never know with these things.

Like Justin Tucker? No one can find a kicker like that except for the Ravens, Greg. He's the best in NFL history so far through what's probably only the first half or so of his career.

I am sure I've missed this in past chats, but what is your record prediction? I'm feeling pretty optimistic that we could still pull off a winning record.

I wouldn't say you "missed" it, ME. I think my initial prediction was 9-7. Then I moved down to 7-9. Maybe I should dip down a little more, but why? I didn't think they'd beat Baltimore anyway. I'll stick with 7-9. For now. Thanks again for chatting, everyone, gotta go.
