Was trying to watch, write, etc. during the game so I'd have to go back and really home in on the OL to confirm you on that. But I did see some sentiment on Twitter that Moore was very bad before his injury. As for whether Seattle is a terrible defense, maybe on paper and statistically, but they'd played decent-to-good offenses the first five weeks. Schedule has been similar to the Steelers.

How bad was the special teams in the 3rd quarter?  A 30 yard punt and returns only to the 17 and 18 yrd line after the Seattle TD's!  Seriously how does Danny Smith have a job?

Yeah, this special teams unit is just completely terrible. They should definitely fire Danny Smith. I would not want a coach whose ST has one blocked punt for a touchdown that was the difference in beating the best team in the NFL. Or a coach whose group had a blocked field goal that should've been returned for a touchdown if not for a bad call. And who on earth would want McCloud as their kick returner? I mean, there are three whole guys around the league averaging more yards than him! And all these opposing teams returning punts and kicks for touchdowns against the Steelers this year. Miserable showing by them.

Has Ray Ray Mccloud surpassed James Washington as a preferred receiving option? That can’t be right, can it?

I'd be surprised. I do think the coaches like McCloud, but he leaves a lot to be desired as a pure receiver. Then again, Washington hasn't exactly set the world on fire either.

Regarding Claypool, I think the problem is Ben's not hitting him high and in stride like he did last season. Instead he's throwing lob balls and allowing the pass defender time to position himself and knock the ball down. So even a big target will struggle if the defender's constantly in his face due to poorly thrown balls.

Hear you on that, but still, at some point you've got to just go win against your guy. Maybe our expectations are too high, but he set that bar high with his play last year.

Devin Bush has disappointed. Do you think the groin’s still bothering him some?  Has the speed but not the diagnostic skills of Shazier

Not sure if he's been hampered at all physically. I'd agree that he's not standing out the way you'd want any ILB to but especially a guy who you invested so much in.

Hello Brian, I just want express my condolences to Coach Olsavsky on the passing of his wife.  He and his family have my deepest sympathy.

Agreed. Always fun talking to Jerry O. Very sudden and tragic news.

Bats, I dont get the hype of Mink MissPatrick.  Great in Name, but horrible in play. Every week we are talking of him getting burned, taking bad angles and missing tackles that lead to huge gains.....is it just JAXON that thinks this guy is massively over rated ?

No, I don't think you're alone. He's not impacting winning as much as he did the past two years, but again, another case of someone who has played so well that people might be a bit spoiled.

OK everyone, I've got to run. Tons of questions as always, apologies if you got left out. It's nothing personal. I'm off the rest of the week but Ray Fittipaldo will be chatting tomorrow, so look out for that. Have a good one.
