That's a hard one, Dave. I don't think anyone really knows the answer to that right now, not even the Steelers. But you're asking my opinion, so I'll guess yes.

Now that he seems to be healthy, will Jaylen Samuels ever have a consistent role in the offense or is it destined to vary wildly week to week?

He said Saturday he's "real close" to 100 percent. It's too bad he got hurt because he seemed to be trending toward the consistent role you speak of. I still think he can carve out a certain amount of touches per game behind James Conner, but you have to figure Benny Snell earned some more work too with the way he ran out in LA.

When should we really be concerned about Juju? I'm not sure he is a high-end #1 who can consistently beat double coverage and his numbers so far haven't been great. He's a GREAT locker room guy but is a really a great receiver?

You can be really concerned now, if you want. But to me, it's too bad that we didn't get to see a full season of him and Roethlisberger together. I might reserve judgment until that happens (assuming Ben is still the same player). The double-teams have to be frustrating, but keep in mind the best way to combat those is having two really good wideouts, and the Steelers don't seem to have that at the moment.

Ha, that's a good observation by you. I did take over Ray's Monday chat, but that was more of a logistical move than a hazing. He and Gerry Dulac are often traveling back from road games on Monday, so makes more sense for me to be here with you Monday chatters, all of whom I love and appreciate dearly.

Would the Redskins need the Steelers permission to interview Tomlin for General Manager?  Can he walk away from his contract for a promotion?

I'm sure they would. He's still a Steelers employee, and no, I don't see why he'd be allowed out of the contract he signed.

I've been predicting 23-10, Steelers, all week. Don't feel strongly about it, but I just can't see the Dolphins moving the ball all that well against the Steelers.
