Absolutely! For my own personal amusement. (And, yes, it seems like he's still capable of being a caretaker for a good roster, at the very worst.)

Hey Brian.  There is plenty of internet fodder about trading Tomlin.  I know trading coaches is rare.  If the Steelers were hypothetically interested in that, and assuming Tomlin would ok the deal too, what would you expect we could receive in return?  I feel that Tomlin has been exposed for the fraud that he is and the return would not be what many might expect.

Well, I don't agree with your premise that Mike Tomlin is a "fraud" or anything like that. But any team that would want him is likely a bottom-feeder, and a lot of bottom-feeders have accumulated draft capital on their way to the depths of the league, so giving up a first-round pick for him isn't out of the question.

At what point does the defensive coordinator job becomes at risk?the highest paid defense in the league seems to be outsmarted by novices way too often.

If they get lit up like a Christmas tree by Gardner Minshew, Jake Browning and Drew Lock, I'd say the heat should be on. But credit Teryl Austin and company for adjusting in the second half of the Patriots game. Sure wasn't a good start, though.

When players have a long break from a Thursday night game to their next game, how do their schedules change?

They had a chance to get away this weekend and take some time off with a "mini-bye" but it wasn't as long as it could've been. The team was back at the facility Friday going over tape and whatnot. Had they won, it likely would've been a "victory Monday" situation. Now they're pretty much back on schedule and Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday work will be akin to the usual Wednesday-Thursday-Friday.

I fear ARII will accept that at least the steelers were once again close to making the play-offs. Same old story. Change is needed, what do you think Brian.

I think we've talked a lot about chance in the last 5-7 days, both in this chat and elsewhere. And I think that's enough for today. Thanks to all for stopping by and we'll do it again next Monday post-Colts.
