I was disappointed that KVD did not get to represent the 2010s. Sorry but Jay Yelas wasn't much to meet in person and doesn't represent well. KVD was great to meet.

I don't think there was regret from the BPT anglers not being in BASS. There was regret their fellow BPT anglers weren't at the show representing.

MLF cannot succeed with BASS as strong as it is. They have to diminish the Bassmaster Classic. The statement from Ott Defoe was a hint at that. Ike let the secret out of the bag about moving the Redcrest. They are losing too much money at MLF for things to continue with a strong BASS. Taking the anglers was supposed to be crippling and that didn’t work.

When I went to the 2001 classic, day 1 and 2 weigh ins were at the expo. You could walk over and check out vendors during lulls in the weigh in. Day 3 was a full scale weigh in at the super dome, but with the 25 man field.

With the Bass tracker or whatever they call it, I followed it all weekend. I didnt watch a minute of the long weight in. Already knew everything..

The weigh in is long because of 1.5 - 2 hour commute. Knoxville, Knoxville

I do like ending Saturday and having everyone at the expo Sunday tho that’s huge for the fans and sponsors to have the winner in your booth

The only thing I saw, was the launch should be at first light. Seemed like a lot prime fishing time was wasted at the pier.
