With an organization so focused on corporate partnerships. How is it not a slap in the face of all corporate partners within the organization and personal angler partners by getting rid of the cup which was already promised to those companies in negotiations?

I think a lot of pro anglers learned that the contract doesn't matter when ESPN ran the Elites... THe rules changed almost monthly.

Maybe they did go to those "ten guys" and cut a "deal"? Prolly will never know. Talking about the top tier guys...Martin, Thrift, Cox etc.

The goodwill would be especially important for a group that says they are better that BASS, who typically only listen to their anglers AFTER half of them leave.

We do not know all the agreements that were discussed in the deal and prolly never will. There could have been some discussions and "deals" made with the "top tier" guys that we don't know about?
