I'm more cautious on Torres than most. People seem to think he's just going to be insta-MLB ready coming off Tommy John surgery (albeit in his non throwing elbow) and with like 40 games above A-ball to his credit.
I'm think closer to the summer before he gets a bigger chance

Why isn't LAA in on Darvish?  All that payroll and their SP seems lame.
Steve Adams
3:58
Because signing Darvish will put them right back within 2-3 million of the luxury tax line after they've spent years trying to dip beneath

Which team will be the worst in the MLB this year.

The Marlins and the Tigers

I've got it on good authority that the Twins just went to 5 years on Darvish and want him signed while all the Super Bowl media is in Minnesota. Just saying.

I don't see how he'd sign there without them going to six

Will the brewers win their division without adding to their rotation before opening day?
Steve Adams

I don't know that they'll win the division even if they do make a huge rotation splash. It's going to be competitive

Dipoto has now led 2 farm systems to the bottom.  Bad luck?  or approach?
Steve Adams
4:01
Dipoto inherited a system that was like 28th in the Majors. Taking it to 30th didn't require much effort. It's actually impressive that he got as many near-MLB assets out of that as he did, though the Gohara trade hurts to some extent.
In Anaheim, it didn't help his cause much that Moreno kept going over his head to sign free agents that blew up their drafts.
4:02
Dipoto obviously isn't afraid to move prospects, but I don't think he's really the farm destroyer fans paint him as just because he's been the GM of a pair of teams that had garbage systems for the most part when he got there.

Ok, I have to wrap up for the week. Thank you everyone for joining, as always. You can send me more questions on Twitter, @Adams_Steve, if you're so inclined.

Jason chats tomorrow night at 6:30pm CT, and I'll be filling in for Jeff on Thursday at 2pm CT, so you'll be stuck with me again soon!

Take care
