Lean toward the latter -- health permitting, of course.

Why does nobody value Matt Moore? He's an effective lefty reliever, but teams don't want him that badly
Steve Adams
1:56
I was surprised he only got one year last time around. He's really good out of the 'pen. I think he should get a decent two-year deal, but we'll see.

Is Josh Naylor available in trade? What is a fair value for 2 years of control?
Steve Adams
1:57
I doubt Cleveland is all that anxious to move him, but they always listen on guys who are coming up on the end of their control windows. Young, MLB-ready OF help is probably high on their list when they're listening on Naylor, Bieber, Clase, etc. -- and upper-minors pitching, as always

Twins traded with KC for MAT last year - Chances they could connect on a trade involving Bubic/Singer for a package including Polanco and/or Kepler?
Steve Adams
1:59
I don't think the Royals would have interest in trading 3+ years of a starting pitcher for 1 year of Kepler or 2 of Polanco. Plus, when you're talking intra-division deals, it's different to trade a role player you signed in free agency (MAT) for some prospects than it is to swap established, homegrown guys who fans have followed for years

Twins have been awfully quiet after finally winning a playoff game - what gives?
Steve Adams
2:00
Questions about their TV broadcast, plus not wanting to block too many of their young players. I think they'll eventually trade some combination of Polanco, Kepler and Farmer, in addition to adding some type of rotation piece.

What do you make of Bill DeWitt's comments?
Steve Adams
2:02
That the Cardinals are far more content with their slate of moves to date than I would be if I were in his shoes, haha.

Seems like the heavy lifting is done but I wouldn't be surprised if they add a reliever, plus probably some SP depth on minor league deals, etc.

Royce Lewis for Bryan Woo make sense for both clubs? Who has more value?
Steve Adams
2:04
Lewis; I don't think there's many scenarios where the Twins would trade him. I do think the M's would do that without much hesitation, even though Dipoto has spoken about his reluctance to trade a young SP
Matt Chapman
2:05
Do you think the Mariners could make a serious run at him? Perhaps with some deferred money or a backloaded contract?
Steve Adams
2:05
I don't think they'll sign anyone to a long-term deal at this point, be it Chapman, Snell or otherwise.
2:07
Alright, I've got to wrap up. I'm on Twitter / X @Adams_Steve for more questions, angry comments, etc. haha.
