Again, they made an offer to Rosenthal. I would imagine they didn't value Melancon or Greene as highly as many of their fans did. I'd tend to agree -- though the Melancon deal in San Diego was still a pretty clear good deal for the Padres.

Whichever of Sanchez, DeSclafani or Wood is healthy will be on the market. Kazmir if he somehow makes it. Gausman will draw considerable interest and since he can't get another QO, they'll make the trade if they're out of it. Wilmer Flores should be a target. McGee and Wisler.
Alex Dickerson only has two years of control left.
They'll have a lot to peddle.

Free agents in general have lost leverage at this point. I don't think Jake Lamb set out thinking "I hope someone gives me $1MM on a non-guaranteed deal" or that Jeremy Jeffress was just hoping to go to Spring Training somewhere.

Rain Drops from Barrel Theory in St. Paul or Furious from Surly in Minneapolis, though I generally like to try a pretty wide assortment rather than just repeat the flagship beers from my favorite breweries. Minnesota has a really good beer scene. I've regrettably yet to enjoy a Pliny, though my friend who is a pretty damn good home-brewer did a clone of it and it turned out real well. I would imagine the real thing is better, ha.

Good average, good power, more marginal in the OBP/defensive value areas. Maybe a few All-Star nods. Good player but with some limitations. Guy can hit though.
