Who was your favorite player on the 2002 Angels? Glaus, GA, Bengie, King Fish, Erstad, Eck, KROD, Lackey, Percival?  Where does Game 6 of the WS rank in the all timers? It’s overlooked!

In 2002 I was a 17-year-old diehard Twins fan who watched Adam Kennedy shatter my universe with the most improbable three-homer game ever in the ALCS, haha. I probably viscerally hated every member of that roster.

23 years later, not so much, haha. K-Rod, Troy Glaus -- lots of really good, fun players on that roster.

Is he a dark horse Cy young candidate? No one seems to mention him in there future predictions.

Doubt he gets the innings he needs. 2026 though? Absolutely. Though probably not a darkhorse at that point.

I feel like Griffin Canning could be decent for the Mets. They have had a good, albeit short, track record with turning pitchers around and Canning had some hype the past two seasons. What are your thoughts on Canning?

I don't see a ton to love there, but one new pitch or some tweaks to the shape of his existing arsenal and it's a new ballgame. The Mets clearly like him. They jumped to get him for more than $4MM early. They have a solid track record with this, which is a credit both to their coaches (Jeremy Hefner), their advance scouting and their analytics.

Tl;dr -- there's not a lot I see in Canning that excites me, but the Mets disagree. He's pitched a lot the past couple seasons. It would not shock me if he emerged as a solid SP option

How good of a deal was the Ragans extension?
Steve Adams

They just bought out two of his arb years. It was fine, but fans calling it a heist or something don't seem to grasp the arbitration system as a whole. They didn't extend their window of club control. They just got some short-term cost certainty, which is good, but also broadly kind of inconsequential.
