Rays aren't giving up Walls for one year of Mancini. I think you're overstating his value. If and when Trey is traded, the return is probably going to piss O's fans off, because I don't expect it to be all that great.

With Longo and Late-Nite-Lamonte heading to the IL, should the Giants look into taking a flyer on Conforto? I understand that he has a draft pick compensation attached but with the Giants winning 107 games last year how valuable is that pick going to be? Might just be worth giving up?

I don't think Wade missing a few weeks should push them to do anything. If they want to sign Conforto because he's just all-around better than Wade, Joc, etc. -- go for it. But the small injury to Wade probably isn't going to be a catalyst for a big move like that.
