Is it reasonable for the Tigers to float a 2021 rotation of Matt Boyd, Casey Mize, Matt Manning, Tarik Skubal and Michael Fulmer?

Generally speaking, it's not wise to assume that everyone from one group of young arms will make it. Injuries happen, some players don't develop as they're expected. If you're looking at five high-end pitching prospects, expect that maybe one or two of them will make it.

Could they at least try out Mize, Manning and Skubal alongside Boyd and Fulmer? Sure, but they'd all need to be healthy at the same time and it's hard to expect all the prospects actually meeting initial expectations.
