Who are some guys with a lot of money owed who could actually be helpful to contenders?
Steve Adams
3:52
Shin-Soo Choo immediately comes to mind ... guy is absolutely raking (albeit probably over his head) and could help deepen any lineup. Cole Hamels can upgrade the back of someone's rotation. Wonder if Minor could step back up in a relief role.

As far as rentals -- Britton, Ziegler, Happ
David
3:53
Is OF Adam Duvall on the trade market and what type of return would the Reds want for him?
Steve Adams
3:53
I'm sure he's available, but I doubt anyone's giving up much for a guy with a .281 OBP
Tigers
3:54
Tigers trades you see happening?
Steve Adams
3:54
Liriano and Fiers. Maybe Greene
Pickle Rick!
3:54
Miguel Cabrera decides to hang up his spikes tomorrow - HOFer?
Steve Adams

Could Ryne Stanek or Sergio Romo be traded?
Steve Adams
3:55
I doubt it with Stanek. Romo is a veteran on a one-year deal playing for the Rays -- I'd be surprised if he *isn't* moved.

Any chance that Eloy Jimenez gets the call before 09/01?  Chances after 09/01?
Steve Adams
3:56
I'd say there's a decent chance before Sept. 1, yeah. He's obliterating AAA pitching and has like 7 K's in 80 PAs. I think he'll definitely be up in September.

Reyes finally DFA to make room for McNeil?
Steve Adams
3:58
They already have an open 40-man spot and could just create a 25-man spot by optioning Kelly or one of the relievers (Rhame, Smith, etc.)
How Reyes still has a roster spot is beyond me, though.

Do you think Mets move any of their 4 sp's before deadline or will they wait til winter?
Steve Adams
3:58
I think there's a decent chance that Wheeler is moved.
Dan
3:59
Is the lack of Danny Duffy love by the national media more a product of two months' worth of bad performance, the fact he pitches in Kansas City, or both?
Steve Adams
3:59
I think it just stems from the fact that he hasn't been very good this year. If he were dealing, teams would be beating down the door to get him, and there'd be quite a bit of attention surrounding him.

Barreto for Hamels
Steve Adams
3:59
No Athletics fan should want that trade to happen.
4:00
Hamels isn't that good anymore.

Steve...Nightengale reported that the giants are trying to attach a solid prospect in order to move Hunter Pence. Do you think Bobby Evans pulls it off? Was very creative this past winter
Steve Adams
4:02
They had to give up Jason Bahr just to shed like $4MM. Lot more than that left on the Pence deal. I think any non-contending team would be wise to at least consider it, but it's a tough sell for any GM to tell his owner "Hey we can get this prospect for just $6.58MM!"

Fast forward to December and Manny likes LA and the feeling is reciprocated, who or whom gets traded?  I got Puig and Pederson so Bellinger and Taylor become pretty much full time outfielders.
Steve Adams
4:03
Feeling probably will be reciprocated, but the Dodgers have yet to really outbid the field for a top FA under this front office -- even their offer to Jansen reportedly wasn't the largest.
Mets DFA'ed Ty Kelly. Jose Reyes lives on. Somehow.
Who says no?
4:04
Jonathan Schoop to the Indians for Shane Bieber and Aaron Civale?
Steve Adams
4:04
Indians aren't giving up Bieber there.

4:05
Hot seat for me if we do not start looking like a MLB team right.
Steve Adams
4:06
Nothing to suggest as much. 2018 wasn't supposed to be their season anyhow. If 2019 is an abject disaster, I'd start to give the idea more merit, but he's safe right now

Are teams generally interested in Brandon Drury? He has a good track record, but hasn't been given much of an opportunity to prove anything more this year.
Steve Adams
4:06
I'm sure plenty of teams would love to add him to the infield. If the Yankees are really comfortable moving him for a controllable reliever, I bet there'll be interest.

Brewers have any interest in Starlin Castro? Thanks
Steve Adams
4:08
League-average bat owed $16.65MM through season's end in 2019 -- I don't see a lot of surplus value there.

Does Molly survive this year in Minnesota?
Steve Adams
4:09
Not his fault that Buxton, Sano and Ervin have been total non-factors in 2018, and he was just extended last year. He'll stick around.

Drury for Norris?
Steve Adams
4:10
Nah -- Yankees would want a guy already controlled for several years.

If youre the Brewers do you add SP or middle infield help?
