Did he make a huge mistake by not upgrading the pen? I see no way they can make it in the playoffs the way Jansen is pitching your thoughts?

I'm still pretty surprised that the Dodgers didn't make multiple bullpen upgrades (or any, really). They can try some things like piggybacking starters, but they're really banking on Jansen to figure some things out and on Joe Kelly to continue pitching like did in June/July/August. I get that bullpen assets are volatile and the Dodgers are loath to part with more predictable assets to acquire them, but that group is worrisome.

I don't think he'd accept, but if you're asking is there a 5-10% chance or something? Sure. Never know a player's personal priorities and preferences. He might be happy to take a nice annual salary, not have to move his family, etc.
